FINALLY!!!! My back splash is finally complete. It just took one call to my old friend and he got it done. My friend Manuel is a co-worker of mine. He can do and has done pretty much everything. I could listen to his stories all day. He is from Acapulco, Mexico and moved to the states in 1969. He was a cliff diver in Acapulco but had to give it up after he hurt his back. He was the Spanish Al McCoy for the Phoenix Suns. He has met Presidents, Senators, Governors, Mayors and all the local celebs. He told Jeff and I some tasty secrets about elected officials and voted for the first time in his life for President Obama. He's a sweet as he can be and I'm glad I'm his friend.
He questioned my choice of white tile because it didn't really go with the granite but when I put up my freshly made curtains and added some accessories he got it!! I'm so glad it's done and now I can move on to the next thing. Thanks Manny.
