A Closer Look
I wanted to give my Minnie slipcovers their own spotlight. There's a fabric store here in AZ called SAS and you buy fabric by the pound and Minnie found this incredible burlap there (at least I think its burlap) and mixed it with some French Hatbox that I bought on Etsy. Minnie had some left over Rachel Ashwell fabric that she decided she would never use and made the rest of the skirts in that. The back is very sweet pink rosebud fabric. I love them!!
I just took a break from my post to talk to an old friend who has come over to see if he could do my kitchen tile. I know, I've had the tile for some time now and I'm just now getting around to getting it done. He said no problem. So that's good news. He said he can also put small chandeliers over my island. Oh happy day!! So tomorrow I'll be doing mountains of laundry and sewing my kitchen curtains and possibly having my tile installed.
Speaking of curtains, I went to Ikea and bought a bunch of these plain white curtains. They're all cotton with tabs that I chose to hide and they're 118 inches long. Perfect for ten foot ceilings. I'll be making the tiebacks out of some Jennifer Paganelli fabric.
The computer has been on its best behavior so hopefully I'll be able to show you any progress that might occure:)
