Laughter

I was thinking about my grandma yesterday and thought of this little story. I started laughing to myself so hard and before you know it I was crying but in a happy way. I went to my mom's house to visit her and my grandmother. My mom walked into my grandma's living room with a pair of pants on that were white with black leaves on them, kind of a jungle print. My grandma said "look at your mom, it looks like she got those pants off a monkey.......she looks real nice." When she said "real nice" she drew the words out like reaaaaaal niiiiice. Now my grandma was 99ish at the time and not so lucid. She loved telling stories and would start laughing so hard while telling them she could hardly finish. We would all laugh just because she was laughing so hard. My husband is the exact same way, he starts laughing and everyone joins in without knowing why their laughing.

You can't deny laughter; when it comes, it plops down in your favorite chair and stays as long as it wants. ~Stephen King, Hearts in Atlantis
