WE LOVE PIZZA!!! But pizza doesn't love us. So here's how we make it healthy. We start with freshly made whole wheat dough.
Then we add our favorite toppings. I love the "caprese" style with just tomatoes, basil and mozzarella. On my husbands side it's turkey peperoni and mushrooms. (yuck) Oh and don't forget the pizza sauce.
Top it off with some low fat mozzarella and bake.
And here you have a somewhat healthier version of America's favorite food.
The other pizza shown here is my daughters, just cheese.
It's really fun and easy to involve the whole family when making home made pizza, everyone gets to design their own which makes everyone happy and if they don't like it they can't blame me. Nice.
